Jane Mitchell is a partner and head of the Family Department at Oxford based law firm, Manches.
Jane joined Manches' Family Department in London in 1988, upon qualifying as a solicitor. In 1995 she moved to their Oxford office to set up the Family Department there, operating throughout the Thames Valley and beyond.
Jane specialises in complex financial cases, disputes regarding children between married and unmarried partners, cohabitation disputes and pre-nuptial agreements.
She has consistently been ranked as a leading family practitioner in the South East by both Chambers and Partners, and The Legal 500 UK. She is a member of Resolution and is also trained in collaborative law.
Jane is married with three children and her interests include the theatre, gardening and children's literature.
