Liz graduated from the University of Exeter in 1997 and trained at the City firm, Stephenson Harwood. She has practised exclusively in the field of family law since early 2000 and joined Manches in 2006 from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain. Liz became a partner in January 2008.
She has wide experience of all areas of family law, particularly the resolution of financial issues arising on divorce and separation including jurisdictional disputes, and issues relating to children. Many of her cases involve substantial financial resources and have an international element. Liz also has considerable experience of preparing complex pre-nuptial agreements.
Liz was among the first solicitors in this jurisdiction to train as a collaborative family lawyer and is a member of Resolution, formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association. She seeks to deal with cases in a constructive and conciliatory manner, by negotiation, wherever possible. |
