Anna graduated from the University of Warwick in 1995 in Law. Anna joined Manches in March 2001 with two years' PQE, as assistant solicitor to Jane Craig, who was Chair of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). She then assisted Jane and Richard Sax for the next four years. Anna became a partner at the beginning of January 2005. Anna is a trained collaborative lawyer.

Anna has considerable experience in cases involving financial disputes following marriage or relationship breakdown, frequently with international issues. She also has extensive experience in complex private law children cases, including applications for residence and/or contact. Anna has a particular expertise in substance abuse cases and in international relocation/leave to remove cases. She has a high success rate on behalf of fathers as well as mothers. She represented the father in the reported case of Re. C (Permission to Remove from Jurisdiction) [2003] 1FLR 1066 and she more recently represented the mother in the reported case of Re. D (Leave to remove: shared residence) [2006] Fam Law 1006.

Ranked in the 2009 edition of Chambers as "developing a formidable reputation, particularly for work involving children", she also has "an exceptional eye for detail and a great bedside manner."

Anna is a member of the "Association Internationale Des Jeunes Advocats" (AIJA) and of REUNITE. She is also secretary of the International Committee of Resolution. She has written, and co-written, a number of articles for various publications including Family Law. She has also lectured on financial provision on divorce.

Anna is married with two young children. If she had any spare time, she would enjoy playing tennis, running and swimming and watching cricket. She is a keen traveller and has a good understanding of French and German.
