Hester qualified in 2001 and is one of the employment team's senior associates. She advises on a broad range of employment issues both contentious and non-contentious, often with an international dimension. Her clients range from senior executives to multi-national companies with particular expertise in the retail and marketing sectors.
Hester provides practical advice on day-to-day employment matters including employment status, unfair dismissal, discrimination, business transfers, restructuring and redundancies, contracts, restrictive covenants and disciplinary and grievance matters. She also devises and runs employment seminars and workshops for clients on employment law issues that arise when managing their staff from the point of recruitment through to termination.
Hester has 2 young sons and, when time allows, enjoys going to the cinema, theatre and travelling, having lived and worked in India and France. She is also a keen cyclist.
