Steven joined Manches in 1992, becoming a partner the following year. A graduate of St Peter's College, Oxford, he was articled with City firm Simmons & Simmons where he qualified in 1986. He gained further experience with media specialists Simon Olswang & Co before joining Reed International PLC as an in-house lawyer.
Steven specialises in commercial IP and IT litigation. He has particular expertise in publishing and media law including libel, copyright and trademark cases. He also handles Internet matters and is a member of the WIPO and Nominet UK Panels of experts for adjudicating domain name disputes.
Steven is listed as a Leading Individual in the Legal 500 directory and is recommended for media and entertainment litigation.
Married with three boys, Steven enjoys family life, golf and Newcastle United. |
