HR needs to be ready to support operational restructuring and potential redundancy programmes whilst continuing to communicate the “company message” — sometimes with limited information or knowledge. Even minor failures on procedure or unintended poor communication can have a devastating effect on the business, on people and the success of the organisation.
03-12-2008	The new immigration rules - The impact on employers In this seminar we will look at the framework of the new points based immigration system, what impact this will have on employers and what the penalties are for employing an illegal worker. In particular, we will consider the new sponsorship regime, what this means for employers and how employers can apply for a license to enable them to recruit from outside the EEA.
21-01-2009	PLUS - Competition Law (Venue TBC) The ManchesPLUS series for in-house lawyers kicks off 2009 delivering an eagerly awaited and much requested topic on Competition Law.
